Exp.: 2 years and above.

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics), relevant (graduation / post-graduation)

  Job Description :

1.)  BASIC SKILLS :

  • To develop and maintain documentation for various products . Datasheet, BOM, Specifications, installation manuals, engineering design changes, engineering drawings, work instructions, etc.
  • Maintain all documents and quality of products according to various standards of ISO , MNRE , Primotech’s buyer requirements .
  • Time to time internal audits and preparation & presentation of weekly & monthly defect report.
  • To test the quality of DC-AC Bulb, Solar Lanterns, Solar water Heater, Solar street Lights, Solar Charge Controller, Solar PV Modules along with servicing and maintenance too (if possible )
  • Should be well versed in using various testing devices like :C.R.O. , LCR tester , Solar Radiance Meter , Clamp meter , Multimeter  , Earth Resistance meter , Leakage Current meter , Temperature Gun , THD  Meter , Digital Analyser , Battery Test Meter , Hydrometer , Variac and many more.

·  Prepare, daily, weekly, monthly inspected material acceptance & QA report.

  • To prepare BOM and other technical details of multiple solar Products.

·  Ability to demonstrate and conduct presentations on different Electronics products.

·  Conceptual Knowledge on solar energy by using combination of luminary, charge controller, battery and solar panel. Use of battery according to solar product, system, backup and autonomy.

·  Knowledge of Microcontroller based solar lighting products.

  • Documentation of products, tools and instruments. Continuous process to achieve quality.

2.)  INCOMING  ANALYSIS :

  • To handle various customer complaints and to take necessary corrective and preventive action after carrying out Root Cause Analysis.
  • .

·  To carry out various quality checks in terms of reliability tests and standards of incoming goods related to solar industry as per standard certification norms.

  • Ensure Documentationto maintain a system that conforms to ISO Development of all solar products and as per MNRE technical specifications (if asked).

·  Inspecting the quality of multiple products and preparing documents as per standards and norms .

·  Various types of electronics component, their specifications, rating, functions and applications according to design of circuit. 

3.)  TESTS AND PRODUCT ANALYSIS :

  • Develop, manage and implement testing programs to achieve and improve product reliability. Responsible for design, tests and data analysis for implementing engineering design changes as well.
  • Coordinate with engineering, Quality and other functions for failure Mode Analysis to determine the mechanism & root cause of product failure identified and support proposed changes in design.

  • Testing expertise all type of solar product circuits.

·  Design of circuit contains all the technical specification and protections.

  • Evaluate and release alternate components, sources and designs for costing.

·  Making BOM of raw material, parts and component of Project. Knowledge of SMD components.

4.)  OUTGOING ( FINAL QA ) ANALYSIS :

  • Servicing and Maintenance of Solar Lanterns, Solar Street Lights, Solar Charge  Controller, Solar PV Modules Testing.
  • Should be able to generate and synthesize In-house testing reports as when compared to Supplier’s In-house generated test reports. 

5.)  CERTIFICATIONS :

  • Coordinate work with test facilities, national labs and certification agencies to get product certifications (like-MNRE , UL, IEC & TUV) for various Solar Products.
  • Development of all solar products according to MNRE technical specs.
  • Should be acquainted with all terms, specifications, terminologies, testing procedures & understanding as per MNRE, BIS norms and  standards.

6.)  ADVANCED SKILLS :

  • To review product engineering specifications and drawings , proposing design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
  • Implement product design changes aimed at improving performance, increasing reliability and / or reducing costs.
  • Conduct different trials for engineering improvement.
  • Data analysis by using Quality tools & techniques, taking corrective action for quality improvement & defect reduction.
  • To do all activities to concern IQC and IPQC with FQA.
  • Process parameters, testing time, reduction quality Rejections, etc.
  • To acquire the knowledge of Dispatch, Ware housing, finished goods store.

·  Schematics designing with Protel design system 3.2 and orCAD16.3.

·  R & D activities and cyclic testing. Cost Analysis, Product Pricing & Optimizing Costing.

  • Knowledge in Embedded-C programming, Solar based products designing & Hardware designing for the Lighting Products, Different types of Power LEDs operations, Configurations & Solar Photo Voltaic Modules & Solar Battery Operations and Testing, handling of various Instruments and operation at projects & Quality control.

1.)  BASIC EXPECTATIONS :

o  Should be proficient in understanding of Online Sales Kit which he will be required to send selectively to multiple potential clients of Primotech.

o  Will be responsible for multiple leads generation , tracking of same leads , proper follow-up of the same leads by email , tele calling ,face to face  meeting and then for the final conversion too. Should have robust email etiquettes and telephonic etiquettes too.

·  Candidate will be expected to handle Branding, Distribution, & Pricing on project to project basis for the entire product portfolio and to coordinate with the procurement department.

·  Robust technical knowledge of Solar is required as while mapping clients' requirements, he will be required to render expert advisory services - Solution Selling. You need to support first line customer by answering queries and resolving their issues.

·  To update the client database on regular basis.

·  To communicate new product developments to prospective clients.

2.)  TEAM BUILDING EXERCISES:

·  LED Automation: Proximity sensors, dusk to dawn sensors, occupancy sensors for both Indoor and Outdoor portfolio.

·  Testing should be done in as per standards and norms laid by standardized Labs across India like CPRI , MNRE , BIS .Thorough understanding of almost all of the technical specifications of LED complete portfolio. Photometric distribution curves too.

·  Understanding of relevant standards Design and development of LED drivers, LED Lights.

·  Knowledge about Buck, Boost, Fly-back Topologies in LED Drivers.

·  Lighting Calculations Using CGLUX (Indoor & Outdoor) , DILUX .

·  Power Factor Correction Circuit calculations, designing & sizing.

·  Should be well versed in AUTOCAD, CGLUX, LUXICON, and ETAP.

·  IQC, OQC & PQC all the products.

·  Methodologies to be applied for a new product launch by short listing a solution from different vendors under Vendor Short listing Programme.

·  Quality testing, packaging , dispatch as per LED Industry norms.

·  Costing of the product, able to prepare bill of material, along with concepts of reverse engineering.

·  Work with design engineering vertical and with R&D vertical too so as to assist in transition of design prototypes into cost efficient and high volume products.
